About Silicone Vapor Retarder
All Globe SVS® Silicone Vapor Shield is a hardwood underlayment paper that meets NWFA guidelines for a vapor retarder, helping protect wood flooring from subfloor moisture. Made from 100% recycled paper with a baked-on silicone coating, it provides a durable, tear-resistant surface that allows planks to slide easily during installation, without tar or petroleum-based waxes.
